»And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.« –Friedrich Nietzsche
Annie discovered Yoga at the gym in 2007 – and although she didn’t know anything about Yoga, she quickly realized that the Asana Practice was magic. As a result, she quit the gym and signed up in a Yoga Studio (one of the few in Berlin back in the days). She started studying the philosophy behind Yoga and deepened her knowledge during a Ashtanga Vinyasa Teacher training in India. After many years of her own practice, Annie decided 2017 to share her joy of Yoga and work as a teacher (alongside her other passion: being journalist). Since then she taught Yoga in several Studios in Berlin, Costa Rica and in Bali.
Annie regularly attends continuing education courses with teachers from all kinds of Styles, such as Yoga Therapy, Yin Yoga and – very passionately – Ashtanga. Especially to mention the Yoga school Samadi Bali, where Annie lived, worked and practiced Mysore with some of her favorite Teachers for over a year.
Her Vinyasa Flow and Ashtanga inspired classes include a dynamic mix of physically challenging asanas designed to be fun for all levels. She invites her students to practice playfully while becoming aware of their bodies and minds.
This Saturday morning class is a revitalizing 90-minute class that aims to both ground and energize your body. Immerse yourself in a creative blend of Vinyasa Flow and Ashtanga – perfect for both beginners and advanced yogis. We flow gracefully in yoga asanas that promote flexibility and strength. With a strong emphasis on mindful breathing, this session will leave you feeling centered and connected.
